Expanding our global presence
During this time, we have steadily broadened our reach, establishing a presence in more than 19 countries in key regions, including the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Australasia. This growth enables us to extend the capability of Mosaiq to support the unique characteristics of each location, out of the box, so that all customers can benefit.
The United Kingdom: A launchpad for growth with Mosaiq
In early 2023, we introduced the Mosaiq Transit Intelligence Suite, aimed at helping transport authorities and operators better understand, interpret and utilise data. Our initial focus on the UK market revealed a genuine need for tools that make sense of the vast amounts of information within transit networks. Many authorities faced challenges with data collection and analysis, often unsure of their networks' true performance.
Jon Salmon, Chief Revenue Officer at Snapper Services UK, offers this insight: “In the UK, many authorities and operators struggle to get a clear view of their network’s performance, making it hard to address issues effectively. Trusted data and insights can empower transit authorities and operators to improve network efficiency and create better transit experiences. With the growing focus on franchising, particularly in the UK, the need for shared data between authorities and operators is becoming increasingly important. That’s where tools like Mosaiq Insights’ can help with contract management tasks, by providing equal access to performance data, fostering collaboration, transparency, and a shared focus on continuous network improvement.”
Today, we process 3 billion data heartbeats each month and gain insights from approximately 25 million trips. This work reflects our commitment to providing millions of monthly insights that can help drive improvements in public transit.
We’re pleased to see Mosaiq gaining traction, processing data and delivering insights across more than 30,000 vehicles in the UK. Our goal is to support bus operators and local authorities in delivering network consistency and optimising resources to improve the overall transit experience for passengers.
Collaboration at the core of our work
Our partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority highlights our commitment to collaboration. By providing data-driven insights into bus services across the Yorkshire region, we empower local authorities to make informed decisions that positively impact their communities. This collaboration aims to improve operational effectiveness and the quality of public transit for all.
Looking ahead
As we reflect on these past two years, we’re grateful for the progress we’ve made with our partners and customers, and we remain focused on the future. Our vision is to create excellent experiences in public transport, that accelerate our journey to a more sustainable world..
We look forward to what’s next as we strive to create a better tomorrow for transit authorities, operators, and passengers alike!
